Close Calls

tilted house

I nearly got ordained last week. In fact, I got so far along in the process that I signed the papers giving the Church's private investigator the right to research my past. The whole thing happened so fast that it took me a full 24 hours to figure out what was going on. As soon as the reality hit me, I called them up and canceled my application.

I wasn't even sure what I thought about Female Ordination. At this point, I guess I am all for it.

I didn't call it off for ethical reasons. My hesitation had everything to do with the idea of some strange man digging through all the google-references on my name.
