I say Hello

"Good-bye" has been heard a lot around here lately, and for a while, I thought it was all I was going to hear for the foreseeable future. But the season is changing and today is Easter and we are celebrating Jesus saying "hello" to the world.

A Fine "Good-bye"

Christendom is saying "good-bye" to Lent-- a time when we fast, pray and contemplate our sin. I didn't do a whole lot of that, my big Lenten deprivation was to give up anxiety, something I find myself wallowing in regularly. I'd like to say good-bye to it permanently.

Its a Celebration

Of life, of freedom, of Spring, of new beginnings, of joy. We are not putting Jesus in the ground, he busted out 2000 years ago and is on a joyous rampage.
