I found one of my first devoted sketch books. From 1989. I was 14. One of my neighbors was an art teacher at the JC and he was always encouraging. There is a note in the front saying my drawings were very good, but that I should work on value and form. The cringe-factor is so high that it is not going to be painful to put it in the recycling.
