went to the downtown chez-photo this morning and the same nice lady extricated the film from the camera (but it wasn't wound very tight!) I knew how to take it out, but then I wasn't sure what the next step was. The lady patiently informed me that there's paper that protects the film from total annihilation. I am calming down now, taking things in stride. Breathing deeply. I'll find out on weds whether or not anything is on the film.
